When it comes to purchasing products for our little ones, we typically want to find the best of the best. Naturepedic products are all organic and totally safe for baby. We all know that buying organic products are usually the best route for keeping our families safe. I was recently sent a 4 sided contoured organic changing pad from Naturepedic. I have been overly impressed by the great quality of this pad and would recommend it to all who are searching for a great changing pad.
Here are some awesome features of the Naturepedic Organic Changing Pad:

100% food-grade polyethylene. Air-Core is a network of closed cell air pockets that provide a firm and comfortable base without the toxic properties of polyurethane foam and the allergenic concerns of latex rubber.
- Non-Toxic Design

NO Polyurethane Foam

- Features Safety Buckle to Secure Baby while Changing

- Optional Changing Pad Covers
- Fitted design secures to changing pad
- Made from 100% organic cotton
- Provides a soft absorptive surface for added comfort

The changing pad has a slick cover that makes cleaning up messes a breeze and has a buckle to keep baby safe while changing them. The changing pad also has snaps to keep the pad in place on the changing table or dresser. The pad is soft but firm and made of very high quality material. I was impressed to see the it is made in the USA! It makes me feel at ease to know that my baby will not be exposed to harsh chemicals that other changing pads contain. I was not aware how many harsh chemicals actually went into baby products until I read about the great features of Naturepedic products and how they DID NOT contain the bad chemicals that other brands do. Naturepedic also offers organic changing pad covers that fit the changing pad! I was a little bummed to see that they didn't offer the changing pad cover in different colors or patterns. The Naturepedic changing pad is more expensive than most changing pads but the quality and chemical free materials make the changing pad worth every penny.
“Today, children are exposed to thousands of substances in the environment, most of which have never been tested for toxicity to children... The implications of this massive experiment in exposure are unknown. Environmental toxicants are suspected to be correlated with many disorders that, until recently, have been assumed to be genetic in origin... attention deficit / hyperactivity disorder, and autism are among the disorders that may be linked to environmental toxicants.” -Center for Children's Health and the Environment at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York.
You can purchase the Naturepedic 4 Sided Organic Contoured Changing Pad for $99.99 and the Organic Changing Pad Cover for only $29.99.

Coconut oil is fantastic for treatment and prevention of diaper rash. It is great for diaper rash and many other skin ailments and it is all natural and non-irritating. It makes a great moisturizer and it absorbs pretty quickly.

My tip is to wash out your baby wipes or use cloth wipes and allow your child to air out some.
