Nuby Paci-Cradle Review

Picture of Nûby™ Paci-Cradle™
The Nuby Paci-Cradle is a very handy device that is offered by Nuby! This handy case can hold up to 2 pacifiers and a pacifinder. It has a Flexi-Klip that ensures that it stays securely attached to a  stroller, purse, diaper bag etc. We love storing our extra pacifiers in this easily accessible case because it allows for easy access when we are in need for a pacifier. Before we used the Nuby Paci-Cradle, it took forever trying to find a pacifier in the diaper bag. The Nuby Paci-Cradle also provides peace of mind because it offers a clean environment as well! The Nuby Paci-Cradle is very easy to attach to the stroller or diaper bag and is great for busy on-the-go mommas like myself!

Beverly Hill Chihuahua 3 -- Blu-ray Review

On  September 18th, Disney will unleash BEVERLY HILLS CHIHUAHUA 3, VIVA LA FIESTA! on Blu-ray!

Everyone’s favorite talking Chihuahuas Papi (voice of George Lopez) and Chloe (voice of Odette Annable) are back, joined by their five playful pups in an all-new family comedy. It’s canine chaos as Papi’s family (dog and human) move into the posh Langham Hotel, complete with a luxurious doggy spa. But there’s trouble in puppy paradise when Rosa, the littlest member of the pack, feels smaller and less special than ever. Now it’s up to Papi to help Rosa find – and celebrate – her inner strength, which turns out to be bigger than she ever dreamed and reminds humans and canines alike of the importance of family, friends and teamwork.

Papi and Chloe’s pack of five pups include the voices of Kay Panabaker (“Little Birds”) as Rosa, Emily Osment (TV’s “Hannah Montana”) as Pep, Madison Pettis (Disney Junior’s “Jake and the Never Land Pirates,” “Game Plan”) as Lala, Logan Grove (TV’s “Young Justice”) as Papi, Jr., and Delany Jones as Ali.

The canine cast features the voice talents of2Miguel Ferrer (“Beverly Hills Chihuahua,” “Traffic”) as Delgado, Eddie “Piolin” Sotelo (“Beverly Hills Chihuahua,” Hispanic National Radio Morning Show DJ) as Humberto and Tom Kenny (“SpongeBob Square Pants”) as Sebastian.

The film’s human stars include Marcus Coloma (TV’s “Make It or Break It,” South Beach”) and Erin Cahill (“Fast Track: No Limits”, “Boogeyman 3”) who reprise their roles from “Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2” as the dog’s masters, Sam and Rachel Cortez, plus Frances Fisher (“The Lincoln Lawyer” and TV’s “Torchwood”) as travel writer Amelia James.

Bonus features on the disc include the featurette “Hanging with Papi,” a playful look at a typical day on-set for Papi and both his human and canine costars, and the English and Spanish versions of “Living Your Dreams” an all-new music video performed by Raini Rodriguez, star of Disney Channel’s popular series “Austin and Ally.”

Fans who fell in love with Papi and Chloe in the box office hit “Beverly Hills Chihuahua,” and their universally beloved litter of pups in “Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2” (the #1 direct-to-video title of 2011*), will enjoy this exciting and playful new installment in the pedigreed franchise. The all-new “Beverly Hills Chihuahua 3: Viva La Fiesta!” is a must-own family fiesta of fun for everyone. Based on characters created by Jeff Bushell, the film is written by Dana Starfield. It is directed by Lev L. Spiro and produced by Sara E. White.

Nuby Gum-eez Review

The Nuby Gum-eez first teether has come in very handy for us during the last several weeks as Channing entered the early stages of teething. This teether comes in a variety of bright colors and looks similar to a pacifier but it has a wider tip that is textured that provides relief for sore gums. This teether is great because your baby doesn't have to have good eye-hand coordination to use it. I also love that it has a hygenic cap for when the teether is not in use. Channing loves his Nuby Gum-eez teether. It's especially great for when we are on the go! I highly recommend this as a first teether for all babies!
These teethers are made of medical grade silicone, which is 100% BPA Free.Gum-eez™ First Teether™

Disney Nature Chimpanzee in stores NOW!

Disney Nature Chimpanzee Bluray
On August 21st Disney Nature released the movie Chimpanzee on DVD and Blu-ray. Our family has a strong fascination with Chimps and were very excited to watch this film. The views throughout the movie were visually breathtaking and I would have loved to see this film in theater to get the full effect. We truly learned a lot about Chimpanzees and loved watching the Oliver grow!

I have such an appreciation for all of the hard work and dedication that went into making this film after watching all of the bonus portions of this combo pack. I really got a kick out of watching how and why this film was made! It's amazing what these people will do for only seconds of footage for the movie. Although this film was a little slow at times it was still defiantly an interesting documentary!

On August 21st Disney Nature released the movie Chimpanzee on DVD and Blu-ray. We weren’t able to watch it until this past Thursday. We were so wiped out from our trip to Story Land that we needed a rest and relaxation movie day. Allison was eagerly awaiting our chance to review this movie and she loved it. She got all teared up as she watched it with our little Eva who was asleep in her lap with a fever. Our little monkey (I know chimps aren’t monkeys) Andrew was all over the place until he finally slept. I was in and out of sleep myself but watched much of the movie plus all the bonus materials. I enjoyed it as well and it was visually amazing.I had a much deeper appreciation of the scope of what went into making this movie after watching all the bonus materials. The work to bring this story to the screen was epic. One of the bonus videos shows how the team braved swarms of bees for two days to come away with 20 seconds of footage for the movie. It is a brilliant piece of cinematography and looks stunning on our TV too. I can’t believe what hardships were overcome to get that shot. Incredible.Oscar was such a cute chimp and his story is something never seen before. Oscar is orphaned and would surely have died except the alpha male of the group took him in. This was something never before captured on film. It is actually unheard of happening as adult male chimps do not normally care for the babies of the group and the loss of a baby chimps mother almost always spells certain death for the baby. The bonding that takes place between Oscar and Frederick was so compelling. Here is a portfolio of images from the movie.
