Nap Nanny Chill REVIEW!

We LOVE the  Nap Nanny Chill and highly recommend it to all parents! The Nap Nanny Chill  weighs in at approximately 3-4 pounds, offers a wide base for stability, and a waterproof liner to protect the foam core. It mimics the basic contours of a car seat, but is sloped at 30° at the top and curved gently at the foot to cradle the baby and prevent sliding. The Nap Nanny Chill is covered in a VERY soft minky fabric that keeps baby cozy. Inside the cozy cover is a soft but firm foam base that hugs baby perfectly while in the recliner. The Cover is completely removable and machine washable. After washing the cover, it still is in great condition and shows no signs of wear! You can choose between several different fabric covers for your Nap Nanny. We chose the Sage (light green) and we absolutely love the color. It matches our nursery perfectly.

One of the only down falls I could find is the warning label is in the upper middle of the head rest on the Nap Nanny. It isn't a big flaw and it does get the point across but I do wish that this was placed in a different location for cosmetic and comfort reasons.

The Nap Nanny Chill replaces the need for a bassinet and serves perfectly as an on the go place for baby to sleep. It can be easily packed up and taken anywhere you go. Nap Nanny offers a great carrying case to keep the recliner clean during traveling and a bit easier to carry. It is designed for floor use only and is not to be used in cribs or on elevated surfaces. The Nap Nanny Chill is great for baby to sit in while you need your hands free. It's great whenever you need to sit baby down in a safe secure place while you cook, clean, or do other things around the house. The Nap Nanny features a 3 point harness that keeps baby safe while sitting in the recliner. This harness can be removed later on when your baby gets big enough the use the recliner on their own! I love that the Nap Nanny grows with baby!
The Nap Nanny is recommended for babies that weigh at least 8 lbs and above and have good head and torso control. There is no maximum weight but Nap Nanny does recommend that once your baby is mobile that it should not be used for sleeping.
The Nap Nanny is also perfect for those babies who have reflux or simply the ones who will not sleep in a crib. The 30 degree angle is a perfect position for those babies with reflux who cannot lay on their back. On average, babies are said to get 3-4 more hours of sleep while using the Nap Nanny Chill (and what parent wouldn't love that!). I think that fact alone make the Nap Nanny worth every penny! The Nap Nanny Chill is a bit pricey ($129.99) but it is made of high quality materials and is built to last. I would highly recommend it to all parents!

    My site -

  4. You should read the front page of their website now: they are going out of business and doing a recall of ALL products and ALL models of the Nap Nanny after 5 infant deaths and other issues. It looked like a good idea, but is now known to be very unsafe. They aren't being sold anymore anyway, so you might want to update your article.

  5. No they are not selling them anymore and what a shame! I bought one for my daughter in law and she loves it! She will not return it, they tell you not to use in the crib, people didn't listen. I wish they did sell them I would buy it for every new mom, also tell them how unsafe it is to use in cribs Sad
