The Gia by Simplisse Angled Breasfeeding pillow is by far my favorite nursing pillow. Unlike other nursing pillows which lay flat, the Gia pillow features a tapered thick-to-thin design that positions baby on an incline for comfortable breastfeeding. The popular Boppy pillow is put to shame compared to the Gia by Simplisse. The Boppy pillow loses shape over time and does not properly support baby. I have often seen women having to use an additional pillow under baby's head to get baby in the right position. The Gia Simplisse Pillow is already perfectly designed to keep mom and baby comfortable and in the correct position. The angle of the pillow also helps to reduce acid reflux and other feeding problems and actually aids in baby’s digestion process.
The Gia by Simplisse Angled Breasfeeding pillow works great for propping baby for sitting up or tummy time as well!
Compared to other nursing pillows, the Gia by Simplisse offers a wider, flatter pillow surface that helps to prevent baby from rolling down. The pillow is incredibly soft but yet firm and is made of 100% quilted cotton that is anti-bacterial and stain-resistant. The best part is that this pillow is completely machine washable!
The Gia by Simplisse Angled Breasfeeding Pillow can be used with or without a cover. They offer four great embroidered covers to choose from that are sold separately. I do wish that they had more covers to choose from. They just recently released a unisex cover that is grey with little green monkeys! It is adorable. I did find that the cover was slightly difficult to put on. The cover contains no zippers and slides on from side to side. The cover fits very well once it is on. The covers sell for approximately $20 a piece.
